In the absence of senior setter Kelli Bowers, sophomore Olivia Plew has been doing a superb job setting up the Lady Goat hitters. Against Omak, Plew had 25 assists.

Lady Goats unbeaten in league volleyball

Chelan's Lady Goats traveled to Omak to take on the Pioneers in CTL Volleyball action and came away with another three-game match victory to extend its league record to 10-0. The Pioneers went down in defeat 5-14, 25-22, 25-11.

The only team so far in the CTL to give Chelan a run for its money has been Cascade. The Kodiaks will be looking for revenge from their five-game defeat at the hands of the Goats on Tuesday, October 20 in front of a home crowd in Leavenworth.

This coming Thursday evening, the Lady Goats will host the Tonasket Tigers beginning with J.V. action at 5:30 and Varsity action beginning at approximately 7 p.m.

Against Omak, Jaicee Harris led with 16 kills and served 15/18 with 9 aces. Olivia Plew had 25 assists and was 14/15 at the service line with 3 aces. Houston Robison had 3 kills and was 19/21 t the service line with 3 aces.

Chelan has been invited to participate in the Wenatchee Invitational this coming Saturday, October 17. This will afford them the opportunity to play up several high school classification levels and may give them some much needed competition prior to Districts and the State Tournament in November.
