Izzy Barth helped the Lady Goats defeat the Lake Roosevelt Raiders by scoring 12 points in Saturday’s Regional Basketball action in Spokane.
Lady Goats on to state for 8th consecutive time

The Lady Goats won their eighth consecutive trip to the WIAA 1A State Basketball Tournament in Yakima next week by defeating Lake Roosevelt 60-46.
“They came out and played with passion,” stated Dennis Rahm over the telephone Saturday evening. “If they show up with that energy at State… who knows, they could end up in a medal round.”
Alisha Love led the Goats with 14 points and a number of steals followed by Izzy Barth who had an outstanding game with 12 points and some great defensive play. Kelli Bowers and Sidney Austin both contributed nine points each to the effort with Kristen Milliette and Kim Harter adding six points each. Taylor McClellan had two points.
The girls closed down the middle defensively against the Raiders which also helped them emerge victorious.
State basketball begins on Wednesday, February 27 and GoLakeChelan will be there to bring basketball fans all the action.
