The Lady Goats ended up in third place after playing a tough game against the Life Christian Eagles. Chelan’s Emma Stockholm added the last two points of the game to take Chelan to a 33-32 lead over the Eagles. The Eagles had a chance to go ahead from the freethrow line, but missed the opportunity and Stockholm grabbed the rebound to win the game.

Emma Stockholm led the Goats with 13 points followed by a hard driving Drew Morris who added 11 of Chelan’s points. Katie Gleasman had three.

It was not a pretty game on either side of the court. Chelan was turning the ball over to the Eagles full court pressure. At the end of the third quarter, Chelan was trailing Life Christian 28-22. After battling back to a 29-32 deficit, Lindsey Brownfield pulled down a rebound and put the ball back to the hoop to bring Chelan to within one point, 32-31.

In game one, Chelan lost to the Adna Pirates 46-39. The Pirates were quick and continued to pressure Chelan into mistakes throughout the game.

Chelan was able to tie the game at the half 19-19 and with only 2:17 remaining to play in the third quarter, the game was still tied at 26-all. By the end of the third quarter, Adna was leading by only one point.

Chelan kept it close at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Adna gradually pulled away and with 45 seconds remaining to play was ahead 44-38. The Eagles went ahead to win 46-39 putting Chelan into the loser bracket with Life Christian.

The Adna Pirates fell to the Connell Eagles in the Championship game 52-31.
