GoLakeChelan photographers Nancy Miller and Richard Uhlhorn were both in Manson Saturday, May 9th to take in the activities. They returned with almost 1,000 still photos. We've edited and grouped the collections a little (but not much) and put them in 3 libraries for our readers to enjoy.
For those who have a solid high-speed connection, you will enjoy the alternate display as indicated below for each of the 3 groupings.
Note: We also have a 60 minute parade video

The 89th annual Manson Apple Blossom Festival is history and what a festival it was.
If you didn't make it out to Manson to watch or participate, you missed a wonderful parade and all of its peripheral activities like the Pig Jig, Kiwanis Breakfast and other events.
The parade, of course, is the main attraction and this year's was as good as it gets. The skies were blue, the temperatures moderate and fluffy white clouds set off the perfect day. I don't think there has been a longer parade in years. There were lots of floats, cars and bands, one of which I have no idea of where they are from; the Clovis Point Intermediate School. (Heidi says they are from East Wenatchee)
With almost 1000 festival still photos, you can just about find almost anyone or anything you are looking for at the parade on Saturday!

Note: For those with a High Speed Connection, we have included a link with larger images with each library
