Goats lose to Okanogan 56-35… have one more
chance to stay in post season play
Meet Cascade on Saturday in Cashmere for CTL 3rd and 4th places at 4 p.m.

It was apparently a game where neither team played up to their capabilities. GoLakeChelan’s Dave Rogge was on hand to cover the game and will be putting up a video shortly. “Both teams played poorly in the first quarter,” said Rogge. “Chelan just played poorer.”
Lots of turnovers and steals as both teams worked to dominate. Okanogan got a lead and extended it to 35 in the third quarter before Chelan mounted a comeback, albeit, too late and ended up losing this game 56-35.
Chelan will play Cascade at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 11th for third place. The game will be in Cashmere and the Lady Goats will be on the court at 2 p.m.
In Chelan’s last game against the Kodiaks on Saturday, February 4, the Goats turned a 26-21 deficit into a 59-39 CTL league victory.
According to assistant coach Dave Spanjer, the Goats played outstanding defense in the second half and received strong guard play from sophomore Kai Clausen who turned in 10 points and 5 assists for the Goats.
