Final score does not show true dominance by Mountain Goats over Cle Elum-Roslyn 42-21 at Cle Elum High School

The final score of 42-21 did not tell the true story and dominance by the Mountain Goats over the Warriors last Friday Night in the rain at Cle Elum.

For the first 2 and a half quarters the Chelan Goats ran up and down the field in their football game against the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors in Cle Elum.  Each of the featured backs, Pedersen, Schwartz, Weatherby each had more than 80 yards rushing with 5 or fewer carries.  The quarterback, Micheal Amstel Jr. had 194 yards rushing with only 4 carries.  He was 2 of 4 passing.  After the first half, Coach Talley began free substitutions and it was in the 4th quarter before the Warriors were able to score more than the 6 points they scored in the first quarter.  It began to rain just after the game got underway and continued throughout the game.
