10-12 Sports/Dave Rogge

Coach Rothlisberger and the Tennis Team after a great CTL season, begin preparations for District Matches over the next two weekends. Chelan will have 10 singles and/or doubles teams representing this years Goats.

Chelan's boys and girls tennis teams, after a very successful Caribou Trail League, begin preparation for the post-season.  The Goats will be sending 10 singles and/or doubles teams to District beginning this Saturday, May 12th.  There will be two weeks of District play.

GoLakeChelan's Dave Rogge caught up with Coach Rothlisberger and several of the Goats tennis players to talk about the post-season coming up.  Coach Rothlisberger, this being his 11 year as coach, feels that Chelan High School will be well represented at the tournament this weekend.  And frankly you will note in his interview, that he expects most of them to move on to the next round of tournaments.  And he feels that they have a strong chance for some of these players to be represented at the State Tournament.  Rogge also talked with some of the players that have qualified.  Take a moment and listen to what each of the player had to say.

I must apologize to Olivia Plew and her parents as I pronounced her name dePlew in the video.  I am terribly sorry.
