Are you a tennis player or fan?  Interested in learning to play tennis?  Interested in your kids playing tennis?

Terry Valdez, the Eastern Washington consultant for the USTA Community Tennis Association program, will conduct an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30 pm at Lake Chelan Shores.  The meeting will take place on the 3rd floor of the recreation/registration building next to the tennis courts.

The topic of the meeting will be the possibility of organizing a community tennis association for the Lake Chelan Valley.  The purpose of the USTA is to promote and develop the growth of tennis by offering a support structure.  There are opportunities for all ages, young children through seniors, and benefits for all ability levels, beginner through expert.  Some potential benefits and activities include:  lessons and camps, adult and junior leagues and tournaments, support for school PE classes and support for local parks systems.

Questions?  Contact Marty Rothlisberger at (509) 682-1954 or rothlisbergerm@chelanschools.org.  For planning purposes, an RSVP is requested but not required to attend.  All are welcome.
