Chelan clinches No 1 seed for District Tournament
Beats Cashmere 65-54

Once again the Chelan Goats had four players in double figures to beat the Cashmere Bulldogs 65-54 in CTL action on Tuesday night, February 1, in Cashmere. The win over the Bulldogs secured Chelan as the Number 1 seed in the upcoming District playoffs.
Aaron McQuaid once again led the Goats with a game high 20 points and 11 rebounds for another double-double. He added 2 assists and 1 block to the his statistics for the year. Only five points off McQuaid’s pace was Matt Robinson who came in with 15 points on the evening. He also had 3 steals. Both Michael Amsel Jr. and Tyler James added 12 points each with Amsel dishing out 9 assists and stealing the ball from the opponents 4 times. James had 4 rebounds.
Clinching the No. 1 seed means that Chelan will host the first playoff game.
The Goats host both Okaongan (Friday night) and Cascade (Saturday night) with the games beginning at approximately 8 p.m.
