Chelan Goats top the CTL by beating Cascade

Going into Tuesday nightís game in Leavenworth, Cascade and Chelan shared the top spot in the Caribou Trail League. Chelan came out in the first inning of the game and made an impressive run on the Kodiaks and then carried that run to the buzzer at the end of the game, winning an impressive game 47-31.


Aaron McQuaid led the way with a game high 21 points, 11 rebounds and 9 steals. Under the basket, Tyler James did what he does with a double-double, pumping in 11 points and pulling down 10 boards. Michael Amsel Jr. distributed 8 assists to help lift the Goats to the win.


Chelanís defense held Cascade to only 4 points in the fourth quarter of play and only 36% from the field.


Chelan will host the Tonasket Tigers on Saturday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. after the girls game.
