Chelan girls force overtime with Brewster

After losing to the Okanogan Bulldogs last week, the Chelan Lady Goats forced overtime against a tough Lady Bear team.
"Brewster has several very good posts," stated Assistant Coach Tanya Greenfield on Wednesday.
The Lady Bears jumped all over the Goats in the first quarter of play and outscored them again in the third quarter to take a five point lead going into the fourth quarter. The Goats came back and regular play ended with the two teams tied at 45 apiece.
In the four minute OT session the Lady Goats were able to pull out the win by outscoring Brewster 9-7. Kelli Bowers once again led the Goats to the victory with 25 points and Cari Williams added 10. Jaicee Harris was held to only two points, but pulled down eight rebounds on the night before fouling out.
The Lady Goats face off with the Omak Pioneers at home on Friday evening with varsity action beginning at
