Lady Goat harriers win CTL league championship

The Lady Goat cross-country team did it again this past Thursday at the Caribou Trail League Championships at the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course. They won the championship for the third straight year in a row.
Leading all the girls to the finishline was Cashmere's Kea Paton with atime of over the 2.7 mile course. Then it was Chelan with Lyndsey Fox leading Gabby Guillen to the finish line by one second for second place with a time of . Gabby had a time of and Mari Schramm placed a solid fifth place in , just a mere four seconds behind the leaders. Clinching the championship for Chelan was Cody Knaub in 12th place and Breanna Holiday in 13th place with time sof and respectively. Sarah Waskewitz placed 16th overall and Solin Castro came in a distant 34th place.
The boys team had a solid effort and a second place finish to Cashmere's first place finish.
Finishing first for the boys was Niles Desmarais in fifth place with a time of over the 2.7 mile course. He was followed to the line by Raven Berman in sixth place with a time of and Cyrus Desmarais in eighth place in . Jorge Maldanado came in 17th in followed by Aaron Schramm in 18th in . Josh Burbery was 29th with at time of and Ian Wyatt was 32nd in
