Outfielder Jesse Quigley made a game saving catch in Center Field for the Chelan Goats.
Chelan Goats split doubleheader with Brewster

On Saturday, April 24, the Chelan Goats hosted the Brewster Bears in a doubleheader. The first game went to Brewster on a good showing by Brewster ace Eli Driessen who allowed only two runs on four hits, one walk and four strikeouts. Brewster won the opener 11-2.
Josh Burbery started on the mound for Chelan and took the loss with no walks. Burbery struck out eight in this game, but it wasn’t enough. Chelan was only able to come up with four hits offensively in game one.
For Chelan it was Niles Desmarias who was 2-3 at the plate, Jesse Quigley, 1-3 and Kyle Nelson, 1-3.
In the nightcap, Chelan got the 7-6 win with Alex Brown on the mound. He only gave up two walks and struck out 11. Alex also has a great game offensively hitting 4-4. Cyrus Desmarias was 3-4, Gabe Quigley was 2-3, and Jesse Quigley was 1-3.
Defensively, Jesse Quigley made an Ichiro style catch in Center Field.
On Thursday, the Goats will host the Tonasket Tigers for Senior night. Chelan will honor nine seniors and their parents with the game beginning at 4 p.m.
Alex Brown had a great outing on the mound in Chelan's nightcap against the Brewster Bears, striking out 11 and picking up 7-6 win.
