Lady Goats extend league record to 8-1

Chelanís Lady Goats extended its league record to 8-1 when they defeated the Okanogan Bulldogs 25-20, 25-8, 25-19 on Thursday, October 8 in Okanogan. Coach Donene Hendricks reported that the JV squad lost their first match of the season on Thursday.
Leading the Goats to this important win was Jamie Brunner who had nine kills and served up two aces on 11/11 at the service line. Jaicee Harris followed her with eight kills and nine digs while Sydney Austin had eight kills, was 14/14 at the service line with three aces and dug out eight balls.
Houston Robison had six kills and one block in the middle of the net while Darby Jenkins had two blocks and one kill on the evening.
AnnAlise Nelson was 11/13 at the service line with two aces and she dug out eight balls on defense. Cari Williams was 3/4 at the service line and dug out one ball. Kelli Bowers assisted this match with 30 passes, two kills and had 13/14 at the service line with three aces.
Chelanís JV and C-squads participated in a volleyball tournament in Ephrata on Saturday. On Tuesday, October 14, the Lady Goats will host the Omak Pioneers for another league contest. JV action will begin at with the varsity following at
