Lady Tigers top Lady Goats in exciting game

After beating the Brewster Bears on Tusday night 50-41, the Lady Goats traveled to Tonasket to take on the Tigers and found themselves in a battle, finally losing this game 47-44. The loss is the only loss this year for the Goats who still remain in first place in the Caribou Trail League.
Tonasket sits solidly in second place with a record of 8-2, but will be gunning for the District Championship against Chelan come District time.
This was a game where none of the Ladies were able to score in double figures. High scorers for Chelan were Kelli Bowers and Sydney Austin who both had nine points each. Jaicee Harris was held to only six points but pulled down 12 rebounds to help the Goats stay close.
Tracy Williams reports that the JV Girls improved to 13-2 record, 10-0 in CTL play, with a 49-32 win at Tonasket.The JV is trying to complete a 2 year undefeated run in the CTL.This does show that the future remains very bright in Lady Goats Hoops.
