Phil Cullen to instruct basketball camp by Richard Uhlhorn
Former Chelan Basketball star and University of Utah standout, Phil Cullen will be heading up a basketball camp in Chelan on Saturday, November 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Phil Cullen helped lead the Chelan Goats to the WIAAState 1A State Basketball Championship in 1998. He was recruited by the University of Utah and played for Coach Rick Majerus throughout his college athletic career.
Cullen also signed with the Seattle Mariners and spent several years pitching in the farm system before giving up the dream of playing major league baseball.
For young basketball players, this camp is a chance to learn from a former graduate who has much to teach about the fundamentals and attitude that goes into becoming a winner.
