Tonasket falls hard to Chelan in doubleheader

Chelan hosted the Tonasket Tigers on Tuesday, March 25 and slaughtered them 13-0 in the opener and then 17-1 in the nightcap.
Roy Figueroa got the start in game one and pitched a shutout in five innings, allowing only four hits in the game. He had six strikeouts and Tonasket has zero base on balls.
The losing pitcher was Tonasketís Grant Leavell who allowed 11 hits and 13 earned runs.
Defensively, Chelan had two defensive errors and Tonasket has three. Chelanís Greg Schultz stole base four times and overall the Goats had 12 stolen bases in game one.

In the nightcap, Josh Burbery pitched a full game allowing only one earned run in five innings. Burbery had eight strikeouts and offered up only three walks. Tonasket had five hits. Tonasketís Grace pitched four innings allowing 11 hits and three earned runs.
Chelan had zero defensive errors in this game and Tonasket had 10.
