Chelan played its first league match against the defending league champions on
Saturday, March 15, in
Leavenworth.

The girls were without senior Izzy Barth for this match.
'Cascade' is a perennial power and we were missing three of our seven varsity girls
for this match, so it was a pretty good effort on the girls part,” according to
Marty Rothlisberger.
“If we’re at full strength when Cascade comes here in April, we’ve got a shot at
beating them,” he added.
